SNB Maribor’s dance performance, choreographed by Edward Clug, brings the medieval lyrics and musical power of Carmina Burana to life with a modern and innovative approach. SNB Maribor dancers will capture the raw energy of the composition, creating striking visual tableaux that convey all the emotional force and passion of this classic work filmed in 4K by PARAMAX FILMS.

The shape that spontaneously emerged was a circle that coincides with the circle of happiness from the first song, « O Fortuna », formed by 28 dancers, each of them striving to reach the center of this perfect natural shape.
The concert choreographed by Edward Clug took place on the stage of the imposing Ljubljana Festival. It is an open, very structural and aesthetic framework which is partially covered and allowed us to install the cables using the existing technical structures.
The spell is reversible. First favorable, then harmful, it can take you to the top, then to the bottom of the big wheel of destiny. This is the general theme which frames the famous “Carmina Burana” by Carl Orff.

The concert was filmed with 7 cinema cameras in 4K HDR, with a special technocrane adapted to Ballets.
