frequently asking questions

What tools do you need to film in 8K ?
You need to chose adapted cameras and postproduction tools to film in 4K and in 8K (we have built a solid network with RED, Sony, Canon, Samsung and Panasonic)
What is HDR ?
HDR stands for HIGH DYNAMIC RANGE. You need to film with HDR compatible tools, then postproduce with HDR adapted machines and also watch with HDR compatible machines. But the result is another dimension! We are currently dealing with Sony monitors which can handle 1000 Nits and Dolby Laboratories with their Dolby Vision's 4000 Nits technology coming soon to our labs.
Is there a plus using HFR technologies ?
HFR of High Frame Rates adds much more frames into your films. The Z generation and millenials grew in a HFR world. Filming in 24 or 25 frames - except for some feature films and dedicated concerts - will make your productions look from the past century. Depending on which film you want, we'll adapt the HFR from 24 (for cinema and music) to 120 or even more for sport.
Why would you use HCG ?
HCG or HIGH COLOR GAMUT brings much more colors that you are used to see with the HDR technologies. But you need specific software programs and machines to see those new colors. Our software have the latest drivers to let you handle the Bit/Rec 2020 for an amazing color experience
Is REC2020 making a difference ?
WIth the HDR technologies, you don't want to sit in the old fashioned REC709 color system. You want to explore more colors. To do so, you need specific monitors, to record with specific cameras. And enter the brave new world of HDR !
