Paramax just filmed the last edition of Sofia Jazz Festival with legendary Christian Scott and Ghost Note bands in 4K. The 10 000 people audience make this festival a great vibe location for musicians to express their emotions !

The International A to JazZ Festival is one of the symbols of music Sofia, spreading the jazz spirit in the city and transforming it into a capital of improvised music for three days. Established in 2011 by a team, young and inspired by music, and with the exclusive support of America for Bulgaria Foundation, the festival traditionally marks the beginning of summer, presenting the best of worldwide jazz music in open air. The beautiful South Park 2 has welcomed an audience of more than 100 000 people and great musicians such as  Branford Marsalis, Kenny Garett, Roy Hargrove, Kurt Elling, Richard Bona, Michel Camilo, Dianne Reeves, José James who performed on its stage.

Christian Scott, also known as Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah is a Three-time Edison Award-winning, Grammy-nominated American trumpeter, composer and producer. A legendary trumpet player coming straight from Miles galaxy

Ghost-Note is led by Snarky Puppy´s multi Grammy Award-winning percussion duo, namely Robert Sput Searight and Nate Werth. The band is a veritable explosion of sound on stage!

The line-up is an impressive one, consisting of musicians who have well and truly made their mark from collaborations with Prince, Snoop Dogg, Erykah Badu, Herbie Hancock, Kendrick Lamar and Justin Timberlake, no less.

Ghost-Note are truly pushing the boundaries for the funk music of the future, with clear references to such all-time greats as James Brown and Sly & The Family Stone, whilst also incorporating afro beats, hip-hop, psychedelia and much more.
